All-female residential and outpatient substance abuse facility in Novato is seeking a LVN to join our fun, engaging, and supportive team! The role of the Nurse is to oversee the medical health care of our clients in our programs and work along side our Medical team.

Avery Lane is a long-term, gender specific women's treatment center located in Novato that specializes in the treatment of Substance Abuse, Dual Diagnosis, and Trauma . We are not the standard drug and alcohol treatment program, we really are creating something different for our clients and focusing more on their underlying issues. Our core team has been working together since our opening in 2017 and we are growing rapidly! We have a passion for recovery and conduct our business in a relaxed atmosphere where employees and clients work together as a community to grow.

Job Duties:
-Complete nursing documentation, treat and provide medical care

-Ensure physicians' orders are carried out in a timely manner

-Oversee medication distribution

-Ensure patients' status is assessed on an ongoing basis

-Work directly with Clinical Staff, and Operations staff for continuity of care

-Maintain client records according to CA state requirements

-Crisis management and crisis support for clients

-Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:
-Experience as LVN, recommended in behavioral health but not required
-Communication, organizational, and time management skills
-Working knowledge of California certification and licensing requirements
-Active LVN license
-Computer literacy and ability to work with various Microsoft Office programs
-Ability to work in a strong team lead setting
-Ability to work with clients with ages 18-65 with varying cultural backgrounds
