Position: Licensed Vocational Nurse

Campus: Orange, CA 92869

Duration: 7+ Months with possible extension

Pay Rate: $39/hr.

Shift: Registry/Per Diem

Hours Per Day: 12hr

Hours Per Week: 36 hr

Duties:

Patient care employees must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to patients of all age groups–must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development through the life span, possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s status, and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient’s needs in relation to age and to provide the care needed as described in the department’s policies and procedures.

Skills:

· Current CA LVN or Licensed Psych Tech License required and maintain current.

· Current BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.

· ABM/MAB/CPI or equivalent within 60 days of hire, annual thereafter.

· Previous experience in acute care or mental health setting preferred.

· Sub-Acute Experience.

· Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations.
