Job description
OBJECTIVE:
Ensure the safety and well-being of children, oversee pool activity and enforce all rules and regulations to provide a safe environment while children are swimming or poolside.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Be present poolside to supervise pool activities for the children of the Rouse Children’s Center, while the children are attending a public pool activity.
- Ensure the protection of children’s rights, dignity, privacy, individuality and self-determination.
- Immediately report any incident/accident involving child care staff and/or children to Rouse staff, including any allegations or suspicions of abuse involving staff, volunteers and the children.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be a certified lifeguard
Must have a current CPR certification
Must have Act 33, Act 34 and FBI background clearances.
National Sex Offender Registry (NSOR) clearance required.
Must be at least 16 years of age
