Job description
We are looking for an experience Line Cook to join our growing team! You will be preparing and cooking a variety of breakfast dishes for restaurant guests to enjoy. We are a breakfast-only restaurant: early mornings required, no evenings.
Early mornings are required (6am-6:30am) & weekend availability is expected. The Original Pancake house is open 7 days/week from 7:00 Am-3:00 Pm, closed on Thanksgiving & Christmas Day. We offer company health insurance available, 401K, & paid sick leave.

With pervious experience as a line cook, you can manage multiple priorities and contribute to a friendly and productive team atmosphere. Ideally, you have your Serve-Safe or Food Handler’s certification.
Entry level cooks start at $16.50 per hour. Experienced cooks can earn up to $21.00 per hour. All BOH employees earn tips in addition to their hourly wage. Tips range from $1-$4 per hour, paid weekly on Fridays.

- Inspect and clean food preparation areas, such as equipment and work surfaces or serving areas to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices.
- Ensure freshness of food and ingredients by checking for quality, keeping track of old and new items, and rotating stock.
- Ensure food is stored and cooked at the correct temperature of ovens, and grills.
- Season and cook food according to the recipes or personal judgment and experience.
- Turn or stir foods to ensure even cooking.
- Team player.
- Previous experience as a restaurant cook preferred.
- Serve-Safe or Food Handler’s certification (or must be willing to attain)
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to lift 30+ Ibs.
- Ability to work standing for 8+ hours.
- Must be able to work weekends.
