Summary:
Junki’s Riverview Restaurant, an upscale restaurant on the east side of Troutdale, Oregon on the Sandy River that creates great food in a diverse and beautiful setting is currently seeking an experienced Full-Time Line Cook to join our team. Helping to ensure guests have a pleasant dining experience located at 29311 SE Stark St, Troutdale, OR 97060.

- Salary: from $18 - $19 an hour plus tips. With tips included the Hourly Salary Averages: $20.00 to $22.00.
- Paid Sick.

Qualifications:
- US work authorization (Required).
- 2 years fast paced line cook (Required).
- Independent and self-motivated.
- Organized, efficient, able to prioritize, plan and manage your time productively.
- Ability to consistently and clearly communicate with all staff.
- Ability to stay calm under pressure.
- Ability to consistently listen, learn, improve and work together within a team to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance at all times.
- Weekend and evening availability.
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
- Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
General Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday Full-time.
- Prep and complete dishes to quality and aesthetic standards.
- Ensure sanitary practices are upheld.
- Coordinate and facilitate working as a team.
- Maintain open communication between FOH staff and BOH staff.
- Control stock rotation & inventory organization.
- Fill in where needed, whether grilling, sautéing, prep work, banquets and special events.
- Maintain a secure, clean, organized, and prepared restaurant.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing and working in a kitchen.
- Exposure to extreme heat, steam, and cold present in a kitchen environment.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
- Manual dexterity to cut and chop foods and perform other related tasks.

Adding to its unique elements, all of the milled trees that were removed on the property were incorporated into the building’s structure. The gazebo and manicured grounds have been designed to explore, host weddings and receptions, and for entertainment or musical venues. Finally, throughout the restaurant and for your viewing pleasure, we are proud to display original artwork from the Yoshida’s private art collection.
