Aventura at Creekside is Seeking an experienced Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (NHA / LNHA) for our skilled nursing Facility located in Carbondale PA, right near Scranton. The nursing home administrator (NHA) candidate that we seek is one who exhibits first and foremost an understanding of a for-profit operation. The challenge we expect our Administrators to overcome is to excel at running the nursing home operation while not compromising on and strving for the highest level of nursing home resident care. The nursing home administrator is one who will be expected to make a mark on staff and residents alike, fostering a culture of family and pride for care.

The nursing home administrator

  • Supervises all clinical and administrative functions in the facility
  • Development and implementation of a facility management system
  • Administration, management, supervision, and coordination of all departments to ensure quality care
  • Financial management of a healthcare facility
  • Monitor and maintain facility's compliance with all pertinent State and Federal regulations
  • Oversight of the facility quality assurance process
  • Ensure that individual rights and opportunity for choice exist for all residents

Nursing Home Administrator Requirements

  • Must have a current Pennsylvania State Nursing Home Administrator License (LNHA)
  • Minimum 1 year experience as a Nursing Home Administrator
  • Experience in performance management and effective leadership
  • Proven leadership & management skills
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills
  • Must maintain confidentiality regarding resident & CFSC proprietary information
  • Ability to relate professionally & work cooperatively with residents & staff at all levels
  • Strong knowledge of Point Click Care
