JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees and customers regarding alcohol service. Adheres to all OLCC and Wildhorse regulations/policies regarding alcohol service/sales. Monitors the bars or gaming floor as assigned for alcohol service and guest behavior. Assists management in crowd control and supporting casino staff in any way possible.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Promotes exemplary guest service standards through prompt, efficient and friendly service.
- Checks ID's of all guests that look below the age of 30.
- Helps keep assigned areas and walk ways clear of empty cups and trash.
- Prevents customers from leaving or entering the casino and alcoholic free areas with alcoholic beverages.
- Assists management in identifying potential issues that may include intoxicated customers, possible altercations involving customers and/or any illegal activity.
- Cuts off and removes any alcoholic drinks from an intoxicated customer. Follows established notification procedures.
- Assists casino security in removal of problem customers from the casino.
- Enforces alcohol service times with guests, assists with closing time and removes alcoholic beverages.
- Fills out the alcohol incident log book at the end of each shift and any security reports as needed.
- Makes sure minors stay on assigned pathway through the casino floor.
- Promotes a clean, safe and healthy work environment for employees and guests. Promptly reports all concerns to manager.
- Adheres to company policies, regulatory laws, codes, department procedures, safety codes, etc.
- Ensures that operations of equipment, tools and materials are handled in a safe manner.
- Promotes internal guest service standards with courteous and respectful behavior with co-workers.
- Keeps calm and level headed under stressful situations.
- Obtains a First Aid and CPR certification within 30 days of employment.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
