How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
Local Route Driver - Class A CDL - Airgas Dry Ice- Location - Santa Fe Springs, CA (Union Facility)

• Pay Rate - $26.40/HR - Potential for up to $27.80/HR w/Hazmat and Tanker endorsements and a member of the CO2 tanker pool (CO2 Tanker Pool based on availability)

• Local Deliveries - 8 to 10 Route stops per day. Deliveries could also shuttle runs (full tractor/trailer loads) between branches or plants

• Shifts Available - 5 day scheduled work week. Opportunity for OT is consistent (OT is anything over 8 hours per day)

• Shift available is Sunday to Thursday, day shift (Approximate start time between 2 AM and 4 AM)

• Drivers average 50 hours/week- Must have excellent attendance and be able to pivot into different roles when needed

Additional Details:

• Drive Cam in trucks.

• No electronics/Bluetooth allowed.

• Zero tolerance for cell and electronic devices while driving an Airgas CMV.

• Airgas operates a modern and efficient fleet.

• Most vehicles are under 6 years old and equipped with driver-friendly technology, such as On Board Computers, collision avoidance technology, latest camera technology and GPS navigation.

Are you a MATCH?

• At least 21 yrs old
• A Class A CDL must have 1 yr experience and it should also be in the last 4 years.
• Graduated from an accredited truck driving school and have a diploma this will count as the 1 year of experience. (with in the last 4 years)
• Confirmed experience driving in the military with a CDL will also count for the required experience.
• No preventable accidents of any kind in the last 3 years.
• No more than 2 minor tickets in the last 3 years.
• No serious violation ticket (speeding 15+, reckless driving, etc) in the last 3 years.
• No suspensions of CDL in the last 3 years except for “Failure to pay child support”.
• No DUI on the last 7 years.

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
The Class-A Route Driver position will deliver products to Airgas Distribution sites which include (Sylmar, CA and San Diego, CA) on a scheduled route or intermittently. Records deliveries and pick-ups on a Mobile load manifest and obtains. Listens to and resolves service inquires and complaints. Engage in loading/unloading truck procedures. Performs pre and post trip vehicle inspections, documenting deficiencies and ensures all safety items are in good working order. Maintains neat, clean and professional personal appearance, and maintains vehicle appearance in a professional manner.
