We have an excellent opportunity for a Logistics Co-Ordinator to join a leading food manufacturer based in Kildare.
Full time, permanent role
Negotiable salary
Working Hours: 8am – 5pm
Reporting to the Distribution Manager, the Logistics Co-Ordinator will assist a busy logistics environment on their transport desk.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Management of all operational communication with customers and suppliers.
- Receiving orders from customers via phone and email systems.
- Organising collections.
- Booking trailers for export.
- Planning multi-drop loads.
- Preparation of shipping documentation.
- Answering customer queries.
- Adherence to procedures relating to costs, invoicing, completion of shipment files and
- general administration.
- Preparation of weekly / monthly reports.
- Warehouse duties.
Requirements:
- A minimum of two years export planning in a busy transport environment.
- Forklift licence desirable not essential.
- Working knowledge of Customs Procedure.
- Excellent Customer Service Skills.
- Good problem solver.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office.
- Excellent written and verbal Communication Skills.
