Job description
To ensure compliance with all DB Schenker processes, maintain a high focus on Health & Safety, efficient management of system event tracking. Process shipment documentation with a high level of accuracy. Manage assigned shipments from origin to destination, liaising with various departments both locally and globally. Provide excellent customer service/account management support, ensuring customer expectations are met and exceeded.
Minimum Requirements
- 1-2 year experience in Freight Forwarding Industry
- Exposure to airfreight an advantage
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
- Excellent analytical skills
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Team player with can do attitude
- Attention to detail and a strong work ethic are important
Desirable
Strong work experience through college will also be considered
Multi-modal freight forwarding experience an advantage
Must be eligible to work in Ireland.
