Manor Farm are currently looking for a Supervisor for Logistics Night Shift to join our Warehouse team.
You will ensure the loading area is in control whilst ensuring compliance.
The company and your direct reports look to you to ensure that gets the required outputs done on time.
You and through your team will ensure that deliveries are always on time and of the highest standard.
You will lead by example and display the effective behaviours and values of Manor Farm.
DUTIES & RESPONABILITIES
Role Responsbility:
You have will have the opportunity to utilise and develop your skills and to be a key member of the production team in the Main Cut Pack Hall.
Responsibilities:

• To provide effective supervision of people which includes people planning, recruitment and selection, training and development, timekeeping and attendance, resolution of issues, timely completion of performance appraisals and holding the team accountable to performance targets.
• Manage Health and Safety: Protect the health and safety of all employees through adherence to site ‘Zero Harm’ culture. Train out of risk assessments and SOP’s to all staff in the area. Utilise the Behavioural Based Safety process to proactively improve safety within the production area.
• Demonstrate a strong technical knowledge of processes and on individual work-steps with the ability to troubleshoot and identify solutions to issues.
• Demonstrate the ability to monitor and maintain KPI's.
• To support the training and development of the team ensuring a competent and versatile workforce.
• To support continuous improvement projects which will have a positive impact (cost reduction) on operations.
• To take a proactive role in the implementation of Lean manufacturing systems and the application of Six Sigma.
• Identify areas for improvement and lead improvement initiatives.
• Organising materials for effective & efficient work , preparation and handover to the following shift.
• Supporting operators with warehouse duties, ensuring product is delivered in a timely manner and within budget through effective communication.
• Being part of the supervisory team, demonstrating excellent communication and cooperation with other departments.
• Resolving issues and keeping detailed records of events and non-conformances.
• Team management – Performance, Timekeeping , Leave approval & Absence management
• Your work area will meet and exceed customer specifications and expectations. You will promote product safety, quality and manage key metrics such as product safety, quality, environment, operations, and cost.
• Liaise with Engineering to resolve engineering issues by using Piranha to log issues.
• Ensure that the palleting area conform to GMP standards and promotes a safe and healthy work environment through the continuous improvement of safety standards. Be an advocate of the company values of openness, challenge and sense of urgency in your ways of working.

REQUIRMENTS
Experience

• 5+ Years experience in a FMCG environment, dealing with leading supermarkets .
• Managing a Warehouse System.

Education

• Team leadership qualification desirable or equivalent experience in a relevant field,
• FLT & PPT Licences,
