St. Paul Academy and Summit School (SPA) is a coeducational, non-sectarian, college preparatory day school serving more than 920 students in kindergarten through grade 12. Our two campuses are located approximately a mile apart in St. Paul, Minnesota, serving Grades K-5 on our Goodrich Campus and Grades 6-12 on our Randolph Campus. The school draws students from St. Paul, Minneapolis, and throughout the eastern and western suburbs.

Department: Lower School Instructional Support

Position Description:

St. Paul Academy and Summit School (SPA) has a strong history and mission of educating and shaping the minds and the hearts of those who will change the world. We are seeking to hire tutors to provide individualized instruction for children in grades K-5 who need additional support in the area of literacy development. Tutors will work 1:1 with students and must be comfortable working in person or in a virtual capacity. All tutoring is arranged through SPA, and tutors are compensated for the services provided.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• Knowledge of and experience with Singapore Math
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience in working with elementary school students
• Preferred Qualifications:
• MA degree in Special Education
• Experience working with learning and attention differences
• Special education background
