Full Time - Staff Nurse- LPN wanted for growing Annandale, VA adult, substance abuse clinic.

5:30am - 2:00 PM.

Congenial and dedicated staff.

Examples of Duties 1. Open and Close pharmacy maintaining all security measures. 2. supply appropriate medication in accordance with clinic procedures 3. Record all doses dispensed and account for all medication used during dispensary shift 4. Accurately record patient details in electronic medical records 5. Monitor and assess pt for dose effectiveness and over sedation 6. Maintain a daily inventory and report variances to appropriate staff 7. Participate in on-going assessment, collects data, recognizes relationship to health status and treatment and determines immediate need for intervention. 8. Identifies patients response to nursing intervention and suggests to RN revision to the plan of care 9. Conduct medical chart reviews to ensure accuracy of chart. 10. Participate in team meetings and provide such data as needed by the team for inclusion of medical treatment plan 11. Monitor and maintain labs according to program policy 12. Assists the Medical Director and Pharmacist as assigned. 13. Provide Case management to patients with chronic medical conditions. 14. Assists the Pharmacist in maintaining accurate medication accountability records, documents any discrepancies, and immediately reports them to the Pharmacist and the Program Director. 15. Notifies the Primary Counselor about absent or tardy patients and communicate effectively regarding patient care. 16. Obtain and report drug screen results to include, urinalysis, swabs, instants and breathalyzers. 17. Monitor patients other medications as required and report discrepancies. 18. Provide education and training on medical issues as identified by lead nurse and Program Director. 19. Assist in reporting, maintaining DEA binder and preparing for inspections from CARF, DEA, and Licensure etc.

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
