Harlem East Life Plan is a Diagnostic and Treatment Facility, East Harlem location, specializing in Behavioral Health Care services, which include Medication Assistance program, Addiction Individual and Group Counseling, Primary Care, and a Mental Health Wellness Center. Harlem East Life Plan is seeking a full-time reliable LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse). You will work under the supervision of a registered nurse or doctor. It is a demanding job but also very rewarding. Dispensing and monitoring the reported methadone.
Responsibilities
- Dispense and monitor ingestion of methadone as presented by the physican.
- Observe patients under treatment to identify progress, side-effects of medications, etc.
- Provide emotional and psychological support when needed
Skills
- Familiarity with hospital health, safety, and sanitation standards and procedures
- Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices
- Good knowledge of MS Office and data entry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and able to handle stress
- Successful completion of LPN license program is a must
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
