JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Read special orders from co-workers
• Read instructions from supervisors in handling customer requests and safety procedures in the workplace
• Responsible for filling orders and supplying materials to their clients
• Offer custom services such as knowing how to operate power tools
• Read and understand the SOP (standard operating procedures) in the company
• Refer to manuals on proper storage and handling of delicate goods
• Read carefully the product labels, warnings and directions posted in the products and warehouse
• Fill up the inventory sheets either weekly or monthly
• Receive and replenish stock
• Pull and bundle delivery orders
• Restrap lumber and replace missing or removed red straps
• Read bills, order forms and invoices
• Read and follow work schedules
• Enter number entries in loading sheets
• Look in the charts for the weights of forklifts that can carry and lift
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment

Physical: Position requires bending, standing, and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 40 pounds frequently and up to 80 pounds occasionally. Team lift for anything over 60 lbs.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
• Basic Computer skills
• Availability to work flexible shifts
• Ability to drive and operate a forklift
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills
• A friendly and energetic personality with customer service focus
• Ability to perform under pressure
• Wear radio at all times
• Ability to lift 40 pounds frequently and up to 80 pounds occasionally.
• Team lift for anything over 60 lbs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,360.00 - $36,400.00 per year
