Position: Degreaser Machine Operator
Location: Newark
Reports to: Production Manager
Shift: First Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 3:30pm

JOB SUMMARY
This production floor position is responsible for the efficient operation of a degreaser by monitoring all steps to ensure that all parts come out clean and ready for Anodizing.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

- Properly load parts in baskets and unload parts after degreasing process
- Weigh parts following degreasing and complete any required written records
- Set and operate scales to do accurate piece counts
- Ensure different part numbers and customer orders are not mixed on a skid
- Use of pallet jack to pull product to the degreasing lines
- Ability to multi-task and work at a fast pace
- Maintain a clean work area including but, not limited to:
- Empty Trash
- Sweep degreasing area
- Mop floor as needed
- Other duties as directed
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, division, multiplication and percentages.
- Ability to be able to differentiate between different part numbers as well as ability to read and write in English for required written records.
- Ability to use a hand-held calculator.
- Ability to work independently with little supervision.
- Ability to wear safety equipment, including safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, arm guards, and gloves
