Job Overview Machine Operator KDP Ireland – a leading producer and distributor of hot and cold beverages – is excited to announce the establishment of a new beverage concentrate manufacturing facility in County Kildare, outside of Dublin, in Ireland. We are now looking for Machine Operators to build our Ireland team to work in this new best-in-class facility. As the Machine Operator, you will be responsible for delivering manufactured materials in a safe, clean, and timely manner to meet customer demand. You will understand of setting up machines, ideally for beverages or other liquid manufacturing. You will also be responsible for ensuring product quality by adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety procedures and policies. The role will require you to work between the hours of 6am to 10pm, weekends and overtime as per business needs but initially, we will be working between the hours of 7am-3.30pm Monday to Friday. In the role of the Machine Operator, you will: Understand and follow facility safety practices and procedures Maintains and execute the master sanitation schedule Operates CIP systems and complete product transfers to liquid packaging lines Weigh materials, pumping ingredients into and out of mixing drums and totes Maintain the entire work area in a clean and orderly condition Ensures that all product produced meets quality specification by properly sanitizing all equipment, following recipe instructions, and calculating and accurately measuring/weighing all ingredients Complete appropriate documentation to support inventory accuracy and batch traceability by recording production information and material usage in SAP as the actual production takes place; maintains production logs as necessary Conduct in-process quality checks and provides samples for the quality lab Monitor equipment performance and performs routine case and maintenance as required; works in partnership with maintenance technician to resolve equipment problems Become certified (or is certified) to operate a forklift truck Requirements In order to be successful in the role of an Machine Operator, you will have: Experience in a production environment, ideally in the Food and Beverage industry Experience of setting up machines (Beverage or other liquid manufacturing experience desirable, but not essential) Knowledge of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) Knowledge or TPM & 5S. Knowledge of Lock out, tag out desirable. To be physically fit to lift, push, and pull up to 60lbs/27kg Experience of SAP or comparable systems Ability to do basic mathematics for unit of measure conversions The flexibility to work in other Operational or Warehousing Teams as and when required Company Overview Great Brands and Great People At KDP Ireland, we’re building the beverage company of the future.
