Employees will be responsible for performing various tasks to set up, operate, monitor, troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on assigned machines. Must be reliable and pay attention to detail and safety standards. Sets up and operates production machines in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. Reads and interprets job tickets to select, position, and safely operate machinery. This person adjusts machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications and in a timely fashion. Teamwork is essential since all tasks will require close collaboration with co-workers. The goal will be to ensure that production procedures will be carried on smoothly to maximize efficiency and profits. Experience working with manufacturing equipment is a plus.

• Safely work in a production environment producing quality packaging.
• Safely operate machines or conduct tasks as assigned
• Read and understand accompanying paperwork to produce assigned items
• Learn the machines and processes and troubleshoot when necessary
• Observe machine operations to ensure quality and conformity of filled or packaged products to standards
• Use of hand tools and manual dexterity is necessary
• Use Amtech (computer software) to enter data such as caliper checks, order specifications, and box dimensions
• Follows Lock-out/Tag-out and all safety procedures required
• Ensure production floor and machine areas are clean, accessible, and safe
• Work on other machines as needed

• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.
• Must be familiar with proper packaging methods and able to interpret visual aids used to convey specific packaging requirements.
• Accurate data entry is required for recording receipts and machine/product data into system.
• Ability to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy.
• Ability to apply concepts of high school level math.
• Must be able to read and interpret job tickets and ask questions when in doubt.
• Ensure basic familiarity with SupplyOne’s Food Safety Management System
• Understands SupplyOne Manufacturing Standards
• Ability to work in a timely and productive manner, using problem solving techniques, and meet customer needs.
