The successful candidate will assist the Production Supervisor/Operations Manager in helping provide direction to the team. The Team Lead works with the machining staff to ensure efficient production and expected performance for all areas on their shift.

Shift Hours: 10:30 PM - 7:00 AM

The Role

Amphenol Aerospace Operations is seeking a Team Lead, Machining to work out of its brand new, state-of-the-art facility in Mesa.

The key responsibilities of this Team Lead, Machining include, but are not limited to:

• Being the subject matter expert on all production equipment
• Being the point of contact for technical escalations and tooling or machine issues
• Assisting in training new employees
• Assisting Production Supervisors with all aspects of KPI requirements. (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory and Cost)
• Driving lean and 5S culture across all product lines (coaching and mentoring)
• Ensuring usage of correct gaging, hand measuring tools and metrology equipment to deliver the highest possible quality components for our customers

The Person

The key skills and qualities of a Team Lead, Machining at Amphenol Aerospace Operations:

• Minimum 5 years of lathe production experience on advanced CNC and related production equipment
• CAD/CAM & longhand G&M programming
• Subject matter expertise in primary production areas
