Looking for an opportunity to work with a talented team and expand your experience in the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Program Executive Office for Unmanned Weapons (PEO U&W), Weapons Maintenance Detachment Fallbrook. This position is a Facility Superintendent and Ordnance Production position located in the NAVAIR Weapons Maintenance Facility, (Bldg 380) located at Fallbrook, California.

Your key duties will be:

  • Ensure effective use of personnel, facilities and material. Monitors operations on a continuing basis to ensure facilities compliance to support workload planning and taskings.
  • Plan and coordinate all installations (telecommunications, heat, electricity etc.) and refurbishments
  • Manages, monitors and drafts Monthly Reports such as Overhead Crane Inspections, usage matrix logs and maintenance reports
  • Manages Facility Budgets and operating costs
  • Plans for the future by forecasting the facilityâ??s upcoming needs and requirements
  • Storage Control â?? Ensure that all supplies and equipment accounted for and that all requirements for shop general housekeeping are adhered to.
  • Manages/Maintains Material Handling Equipment (MHE) /Ordnance Handling Equipment (OHE) â?? required to inspect MHE and OHE for required safety standards prior to use. Complete required reports and documentation
  • Independently provides technical guidance and assistance in Facility Management. Investigates, analyzes and resolves problems pertaining to the design, installation, maintenance, operation or repair of the systems assigned. Performs the coordination and consultation necessary to implement the problem fixes.

Required Qualifications

  • At least six (6) years in Acquisition Logistics Support or Maintenance Engineering. At least four (4) yearsâ?? experience in operations of systems in the field or maintenance of systems in the field.


Education:
BS or BA degree in Acquisition, Logistics Management, or Business Administration


ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: Three years of recent experience in Acquisition Logistics plus either a designation as a Certified Professional Logistician from the International Society of Logistics (SOLE) or a certification as an APICS Supply Chain Professional may be substituted for four (4) yearsâ?? experience in operations of systems in the field or maintenance of systems in the field.


Other Speified Requirements:
Must maintain Secret Security Clearance

Must be able to obtain and maintain Ordnance Certification/Qualification
