You independently operate and maintain at least one process, equipment or systems following autonomous maintenance (AM) standards and use your technical skills to improve line and/or system performance to meet business needs.

How you will contribute

You are a key ingredient in changing how the world snacks. With coaching, you will operate and maintain equipment to deliver on our safety, quality, cost, delivery, sustainability and morale targets. You will use execute all standard work processes on your equipment using AM (autonomous maintenance) and PM (progressive maintenance) standards and ensure that safety processes are observed, and that quality assurance activities are performed. You will understand the losses in their area and equipment and report them.

o Diagnose and repair production equipment in an industrial manufacturing environment

o Repair, maintain, and upgrade electrical equipment

o Read and understand wiring schematics

o Experience using test equipment to troubleshoot electrical issues (Multimeter, Megger, thermography, etc.)

o Knowledge of industrial 3 phase equipment, controls, VFD drives,

o Be familiar with control devices (e.g. Allen Bradley, ABB, and Foxboro)

o Must be able to troubleshoot and repair up to 480V equipment

o Perform calibration of 4-20 MA instruments and other low voltage systems.

o Ensures conformance with all Safety, GMP’s, health code regulations, NEC, NFPA standards and Food Safety Policies

Education / Certifications:

o High School Diploma - Required

Additional Job Requirements

o At least 2 years of manufacturing experience

o Ability to work any shift, weekends, and holidays as required

o Ability to work well in a team-based environment with limited supervision

o Able to learn and apply Continuous Improvement tools (IL6S) - Preferred

o Capable of working effectively as part of a High-Performance Team

o Ability to problem solve and help with practical solution

o The following physical demands are examples of duties that may be performed:

o Climb steps

o Lift 50 pounds and maintain balance

o Ability to perform duties in extreme varying temperatures

o Crawl over, under, and into equipment as necessary to perform job duties

o Work from ladders and lifts

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $60,347.87 - $75,913.06 per year
