East Coast Properties, Liverpool, New York is in search of a full-time Maintenance Worker and a full time Maintenance Grounds Worker to join our team. Our commitment to excellence in multi-family housing and customer service is crucial to our success. Overview: Apartment Maintenance Technician position duties to include, but not limited to, the following:

• Most important, motivated and energetic individual to plan and organize a work schedule for himself on a daily basis.
• Basic plumbing - Repairing and replacing faucets, toilets, general plumbing, drain cleanouts, and any other misc. plumbing.
• Basic electrical - Replacing outlets, switches, lighting, and troubleshooting any electrical issues.
• Basic carpentry - Hanging kitchen cabinets, vanities, baseboard, sheetrock, etc...
• Basic appliance repair - Troubleshooting proper operation of all appliances and performing small repairs.
• HVAC - Maintain proper operation of boiler systems, hot water heaters, furnaces and air conditioning (training will be provided).
• Apartment turnover - Preparing apartments for move-in ready condition.
• General maintenance - Interior and exterior maintenance will need to be performed on a daily basis to include daily service requests.
• Snow removal - Snow shoveling, salting walkways and plowing (we provide all snow removal equipment including plow truck). Must be available at any time.
• Emergency call is a requirement.

Work Experience: Must have basic knowledge in all aspects of apartment maintenance. One year minimum of Maintenance/Grounds work experience required.

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.

Requirements: Clean, valid driver's license. Must have reliable transportation. Good communication skills, ability to interact well with others. Must have your own general tools to perform the job. Candidate must be able to come to work during inclement weather and for any number of issues and emergency situations. Reliability is a must.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.39 - $21.69 per hour
