Naches Cowiche Canal Association has entry level openings for temporary and full time general labor positions. Job duties include cleaning of canal, patching with concrete and other materials, working with power tools and small equipment, basic pipe fitting, all-round general labor working in all weather conditions.

Winter/Fall working hours are 8am – 4:30pm Monday – Friday

Spring/Summer hours are 7am – 3:30pm Monday – Friday

Some overtime and weekends possible. Proven employees can also be rotated into our Standby schedule through the summer.

Positions start as temporary but could become permanent for the right person. We are looking for a team player with a positive attitude, who likes to work and learn new skills.

Must have a current drivers license with no more than two infractions in the last 3 years.

Must be able to lift minimum of 80 lbs.

Must be free from substance abuse and pass random UA.

Must be reliable and on time for work.

NCCA offers starting wage range of $16 - $18 per hour DOE. Performance reviews are conducted after 90 days and 1 year of employment. Benefits include immediate sick pay accrual up to 40 hours per year, 7 paid holidays, medical, dental, vision coverage at 90 days, and at 1 year 144 hours PTO time and participation in SIMPLE IRA program.
