AdvantaStaff is now accepting resumes for an Electrical Maintenance Mechanic position in the Petersburg area.
Required Skills/Education/Experience:

• High School degree;
• 2+ years of experience maintaining machinery in a fast paced industrial environment;
• Multi-craft experience preferred;
• Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance and Troubleshooting Background;
• Ability to Use Diagnostic Equipment is a plus;
• DCS Experience a plus;
• Detail oriented and possess excellent interpersonal skills;
• Excellent organizational, written and verbal skills;
• Ability to learn a variety of software packages;
• Ability to pass pre-site visit ITAR screening;
• Ability to pass a post offer background check and drug screening.

Duties Include:

• Adhere to all quality and safety standards;
• Responsible for maintaining various pieces of industrial equipment by troubleshooting electrical and mechanical hardware problems;
• Responsible for performing electrical and mechanical PMs as well as maintaining the facility's electrical, mechanical and safety systems;
• Utilization of strong organizational skills, be able to work alone and be self-directed in the daily duties.
• Maintain clean and organized work area with emphasis on safety, quality, efficiency and utilization
• Recommend process improvements to achieve higher levels of success for delivering quality results

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $25.00 - $36.00 per hour
