SKILLED CRAFTSMAN $16-$20/hr
This position is full time with potential for future career growth. We are a rapidly growing residential apartment company looking for competent, hard-working, calm and experienced individuals to join our property maintenance teams in Wheeling and in Weirton. Responsibilities will include major renovations, as well as turnover jobs between tenants, and general grounds and building maintenance.

Duties: ︎

• Run maintenance calls and provide high level of customer support to all residents. ︎
• Turnover units including clean-out, painting, repairs, general carpentry, drywall, plumbing, etc.
• Maintain building accessibility and curb appeal, such as cleaning parking lots and walkways, maintaining landscaping and flower beds, etc. ︎
• HVAC repairs and preventive maintenance, including repair and replacement of fan motors, burners and thermostats. ︎
• Basic electrical repair including replacing light fixtures, fans, switches and outlets. ︎Rough and finish carpentry. ︎
• Tile work, masonry, carpets and other flooring. ︎Door and window repair and installation. ︎
• Ensure tools, materials and vehicles are maintained in good working order and are available at job site when needed. ︎
• Operate all equipment, tools and machinery with safety as a first priority. ︎
• Assume additional responsibilities and perform special projects as required.

• Must be a self-starter, mature, responsible and reliable. ︎
• Must always be on time and punctual. ︎
• A calm demeanor and firm yet kind interaction style with colleagues, residents, vendors and others.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds. ︎
• Display a positive, friendly and professional attitude with strong focus on customer service. ︎
• Ability to follow oral or written work orders. ︎Experience in using a variety of hand and power tools.
• High school diploma or GED. ︎
• Valid driver's license. ︎
• Must have a smart phone and access to the internet. ︎
• Must be comfortable using technology and online software applications.
• Mandatory drug and background test. ︎
• Must be able to maintain competent records of work order completion, supply and equipment inventory, equipment maintenance records, etc.

The hours are 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, with some week-end on-call duties.
