Grafton Job Corps is seeking a full-time a Maintenance/Driver to join our team. We provide career-based technical and academic training along with job placement assistance to low-income youth ages 16-24 years of age.

Schedule: Monday - Friday from 10 am - 7 pm

POSITION SUMMARY:
Provides safe, efficient and effective transportation for students. Responsible for the preventative maintenance and repair of Center facility and grounds.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Performs maintenance and inspections of Center’s facilities and systems to ensure functionality and prevent disruption of student and staff services.

· Completes, tracks and documents work status and notifies supervisor of issues and concerns.

· Provide students with timely and efficient student transportation services as required.

· Maintains appropriate vehicle documentation per DOL/Company requirements.

· Schedules and delivers vehicles for preventative maintenance and repairs as necessary.

· Conducts vehicle inspections and reports safety issues and concerns to supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required. Prefer previous experience working with youth.
• At least 21 years old
• Must possess and maintain a valid in-State Driver’s License and meet Company insurability requirements.
• CDL not required.

Physical requirements include sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling, and/or pushing, carrying, reaching, stooping and crouching. Demonstrates the ability to lift forty pounds and/or the ability to assess the lift load in order to ask for necessary assistance.
