About us:
Kdc/one is currently hiring at our Columbus, Ohio facility. As part of the kdc/one network, we are the leading best-in-class producer of beauty and personal care products! Our Columbus facility is accessible with an easy commute located on RT. 161/Beech Rd. in New Albany.

General Information:
This position focuses on the functions of facility equipment and buildings and completes all work in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOP) and work instructions (WI), and all state, local and other applicable codes.

What are we looking for?

• High school diploma/GED equivalent with proficiency in math and reading comprehension.
• Two years of facility maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• SAP experience strongly preferred.
• Strong English communication (both written and oral), interpersonal, and organizational skills.

This position is responsible for:

• Electrical, pneumatic, plumbing, welding and carpentry skills.
• Knowledge of boilers, chillers and air compressor operations.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and manuals.
• Strong problem solving, analytical methods and technical skills.
• Good understanding of FDA Good Manufacturing Practices Regulations (GMP’s) and OSHA safety requirements.
• Self-starter with strong work ethic.
• Strong communication (both written and oral), interpersonal, team building and organizational skills.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and manage time efficiently and effectively.
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, stoop, climb, and lift items up to 50 lbs. in performance of duties.
• Ability to plan ahead to minimize potential issues as well as to meet company growth objectives
