Job purpose
The Maintenance Technician is an integral part of the ENS team. The Maintenance team works together to ensure all equipment is in good working order and the facilities are kept safe and operable.
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for repair and preventative maintenance for all production equipment and general facilities at Ensight Strafford, Press Room Equipment, and Likwifier.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Trouble shoot malfunctions with production equipment having a high sense of urgency
- Plan, perform, and document periodic preventive maintenance on production equipment (CNC machines, Manual mills / lathes, welders, forklifts, air compressors, saws, shear, brake, grinder)
- Perform minor building / facility maintenance as needed
- Perform minor electrical maintenance or repairs, as needed
- Assist with and perform repairs associated with facility safety audits
- Performs other duties, as assigned
Qualifications
Education
- Requires a high school diploma or GED
Specialized Knowledge and Experience
- Mechanical / electrical experience preferred

- Requires the interpersonal skills to interact and collaborate with wide variety of internal personnel.
- Must be able to interact professionally, appropriately, and courteously with customers, co-workers and other outside parties.
Travel
Travel required to Press Room Equipment, in Springfield, two days per week to provide maintenance support, and to Likwifier, in Kansas City, every four to six weeks to provide maintenance support.

This position is considered safety sensitive, citing the critical thinking skills required for trouble shooting and the use of tools that have serious potential risks. Must observe safety procedures and use equipment and materials properly; must wear safety glasses and steel toe boots.
