We are immediately hiring for a MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN.

This position will be located at our Aliquippa Production facility. This is a full-time position with benefits.

The chief duties of the Maintenance Technician will be repairing, maintaining, and installing plant equipment. This role is vital in ensuring that all plant equipment and related facilities are running smoothly. Key responsibilities

• Repair and maintain all production, warehouse, and plant equipment (dust collector, forklifts / pallet jacks, etc.).
• Follow safe work practices by ensuring safety procedures are always adhered to.
• Learn function and operation of all production equipment within the plant.
• Work closely with Plant Manager and Production Lead to identify maintenance priorities.
• Follow good housekeeping practices.
• Support Engineering on new equipment installations, modifications, and fabrications.
• Work as a team with Production and Engineering on process improvement issues.
• Adopt and apply 5S, lean manufacturing approaches and other continuous improvement initiatives into the plant and maintenance operation.

• 2-5 years maintenance experience preferred
• Demonstrates strong mechanical, basic electrical and good hands-on skills

• Must be able to lift 55 pounds. Ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods of time, occasionally kneeling and bending.
• Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and written with supervisors, maintenance, and other employees
• Must be able to work overtime and weekends when required.
• Must be customer focused and maintain a high level of support for Production.
• Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).

Education:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
