Introduction: Now hiring for 1st shift - Maintenance department of a steel service center responsible for servicing & maintaining operations in a production environment. Some overtime required.

Compensation: $25-$30 depending on experience.

Ideal candidate has experience in working maintenance in the steel industry, has strong mechanical & some electrical experience.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

• Minimum of 3 years of industrial electrical PLC experience
• Strong emphasis on Allen Bradley PLC families
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
• Welding
• Technical expertise
• Hydraulic repair experience
• Ability to read blueprints
• Understands imperial measurement standards
• Troubleshooting equipment issues
• Problem solving & analytical skills
• Interpersonal skills

Common Functions:

• Perform preventative maintenance on machinery.
• Rig machinery for installation & removal.
• Installs & repairs electrical apparatus such as transformers & wiring.
• Maintains pipe / hydraulic and pneumatic lines, repairs & replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.
• Work during production outages on time-sensitive tasks.
