The Holiday Inn Express & Suites Glenpool - Tulsa South is looking for a motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team! They are responsible for performing all duties and functions required for efficient operation of this hotel; including basic plumbing, electrical, painting, appliance repairs, cleaning units and grounds for inspections; while providing exceptional service while assessing and repairing the property.

Responsibilities:

• Replace broken glass, tile, carpet, screens, fixtures, appliances, draperies, locks
• Assist in custodial and grounds work, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, emptying trash, cleaning windows, etc., in common areas.
• Responds to work orders, guest requests and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Have knowledge regarding water and gas meter cut-offs, all hotel and fixture cutoffs, sewer clean-outs and post map of same.
• Keep accurate records regarding preventive maintenance.
• Report any maintenance or guest related concerns to manager in a timely manner.
• Periodically inspect all units, buildings and common areas, performing repairs and janitorial assistance as needed. Make sure storage areas and entrances are locked and adequate lighting in those areas is maintained.
• Ensure effective, timely and professional interactions with guests, contractors and property management team on all maintenance services provided.
• Proven experience of facility management and marked ability to analyze and respond to site problems
• Considerable mechanical ability to analyze equipment and their function and repair.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Working knowledge of electricity
• Pool maintenance experience preferred.
• Must be detail oriented.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
• Must be comfortable working on feet majority of the day
• Previous maintenance experience is preferred by not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
