Major Responsibilities:
- Schedule and coordinate a variety of field repairs for a regional production area; oversee 10-30 contract employees on a daily basis; spend significant time in the field ensuring these activities are completed safe and in a timely manner.
- Review and approve close-out documents for contractors under their area of supervision; question accordingly and work with security/auditing when issues are found with improper billings; monitor GPS reports of contractors.
- Audit JSAs and adherence of contractors to Pioneer’s contractor safety program; including working with HSE personnel on any incidents and subsequent investigations.
- Drives to location and diagnoses problem and informs maintenance foreman and planner of required repairs.
- Keeps equipment and tools clean and secure; maintains neat, clean work areas.
- Operates, services, and ensures proper maintenance and security for Company vehicles and other property for which responsible.
- May relieve other employees as necessary.
- Promotes and provides a safe environment and direction for the department personnel. Follows and supports all Pioneer HSE policies at all times. Must stay compliant with all PNR identified proactive measures and training requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor, including special projects.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must have a minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent.
- Must have 5 years of production operations experience or production facility maintenance experience. 1 year of supervisory experience is preferred.
- Good organizational skills, especially with regard to logistical planning of large work projects. Ability to diagnose electrical system problems and implement timely solutions. Ability to manage contractors to ensure optimum work quality. Good interpersonal and negotiating skills.
- A current valid vehicle operator’s license with an insurable driving record is required.
- Must have supervisory skills to lead crews, resolve conflict, and schedule personnel and projects.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.
- PNR to provide continuing education.
