We are looking for a Maintenance Technician II to join our team at Beachwoods Resort. This outstanding 150 rooms resort is a hidden gem and a year-round destination in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Tucked between the Atlantic Ocean and Albemarle Sound in the middle of a 100-acre Maritime Forest, the resort is surrounded by lakes, woodlands, wetlands, rolling dunes and wildlife. This is a phenomenal opportunity to work in an appealing setting and being part of an extraordinary team environment.

As Maintenance Technician II, you will be maintaining the guestrooms, public spaces, back of the house areas in good repair, ensuring an attractive and well-maintained property. Maintenance Team Members may work varying shifts, but primarily will be scheduled 8am-4.30pm.

Responsibilities Include:

• Establishes a clear line of communication with the engineering leadership.
• Assist other maintenance staff on special projects.
• Detailed record keeping for logs and inspection sheets.
• Painting, stucco, texturing, drywall, staining, knockdown and popcorn ceilings.
• Troubleshoot plumbing fixtures including drain cleaning.
• Other duties as assigner by your leader.
  

What are we looking for:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of 1- 2 years’ experience in facilities maintenance.
• Can climb stairs and work on ladders up to 40 feet, push/pull up to 100 lbs., lift/carry up to 50 lbs., and grasp, stoop, reach overhead with or without reasonable accommodations.
