- $1.00/hr shift differential for 3rd shifts
- Sunday-Wednesday 8p-6:30a

The Maintenance Technician has responsibilities to maintain, troubleshoot and repair a variety of electrical and mechanical equipment in a food processing environment. This position requires proficiency in multiple skill clusters, such as electrical controls, fluid power, mechanical systems, welding, fabrication and manufacturing processes. This person will perform medium to high-level machine systems troubleshooting and repair and provide technical support for all phases of the operation. This work will be of average to considerable difficulty in the accomplishment of a variety of mechanical maintenance actions.
- Manage the repair of MHE, including monitoring and trending, troubleshooting and repairs and preventative maintenance
- Conduct installation and repairs on electrical and lighting issues, dock doors, and dock plates
- Conduct preventive maintenance (PM’s) within manufacturer’s guidelines/specifications and established timelines to include oil changes, filter changes, calibration of equipment, belts changes, inspections, adjustments, lubrication, etc.
- Responsible for logging time and materials into computerized maintenance management system
- Required to interpret and understand plans and specifications, schematics, operating and maintenance manuals
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 1+ years of related experience and/or training in an industrial mechanical maintenance or food manufacturing environment; or 4 years’ direct experience in an industrial mechanical maintenance or food manufacturing maintenance environment.
- Vocational Diploma, Technical Diploma or Associate's Degree from a technical maintenance or vocational school, a plus.
- Possess the ability to function effectively in a team environment and interact productively with all levels of team personnel and outside contractors.
- Ability to operate a forklift, genie lift or scissor lift.
- Can understand and follow oral and written instructions.
- Ability to read, write the following; work orders, instructions, daily reports and machine manuals.
- Ability to receive and relate orders/information using various communication devices.
