GSF Properties Inc. is looking for a Part-Time Maintenance Technician in Nipomo, CA, join a dynamic property management team!
Qualifications / Skills for Maintenance Technician:
- Good communication skills
- Computer literate (outlook/property management software)
- Ability to positively interact with the general public, tenants, vendors, and corporate staff
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines
- General building maintenance skills (painting, cleaning, plumbing, electrical, carpentry)
- General grounds keeping skills
- Ability to manage emergency situations

Responsibilities of Maintenance Technician:
- Maintain good public relations with residents and vendors
- Assist with annual apartment inspections and identifying action items
- Report violations of lease and house rules
- Timely completion of maintenance request, work orders and ensure tenant’s maintenance needs are being met
- Work with manager to schedule vendors and order necessary supplies
- Perform preventative maintenance duties
- Maintaining excellent curb appeal
- Follow policies and procedures
- Grounds
Job Requirements for Maintenance Technician:
- Minimum of 1 year experience in residential/apartment or affordable housing maintenance.
- Basic knowledge and experience in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, minor fixes such as patching a wall, fixing a doorknob, appliance repair, unit turnovers, and work orders.
- Basic familiarity with use of computers and technology. Navigate at a basic level within web-based applications.
- Provide a high level of customer service to internal and external customers.
- Valid CA Driver’s License and auto insurance
- Reliable Transportation
- Able to work Flexible hours M-F (20 hours per week)
