Mammography Technologist- Medical Imaging, Oswego Hospital

The Mammography Technologist consistently produces high quality mammographic and procedures to aide in medical diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease. Responsible for coordination of tasks and documentation for Quality Assurance. In addition to the mammography responsibilities, this position also functions as a radiologic technologist and will be required to perform x-ray exams.

Produce high quality mammography and x-ray exams. Demonstrates high-level knowledge of established protocols and equipment operation when performing quality control testing. Maintains confidentiality with others regarding patient and organizational information Provides training and guidance for the orientation of new staff and new exam protocols. Performs other job-related responsibilities as requested.

Graduate of accredited radiography program and current NYS licensure and ARRT certification is required. One year experience in mammography procedures.
