Applications are invited for an appointment as Centre Manager of the national Construction Technology Centre at University of Galway.

Established on 24th June 2022, Ireland’s first ever Construction Technology Centre (https://www.constructinnovate.ie/) is also the first industry-led technology centre hosted at University of Galway. The Centre, with initial funding of €5M over 5 years (as part of Enterprise Ireland Technology Centres programme), will support the technology transformation of the entire construction and built environment sector. Hosted at the University of Galway, the Centre involves leading universities (Trinity College Dublin, University College Dublin, and University College Cork) and SFI Research Centres across Ireland. The Centre will build on existing capabilities and facilities and make use of the high levels of expertise that is currently available within the universities. The Centre will also include industry at its heart, with the Irish Green Building Council playing a leading role in the consortium.

Salary:
€97,319-€111,361 p.a. (applicable to new entrants effective from January 2011)
(This appointment will be made on the Assistant Secretary scale in line with current Government pay policy)
