Position Information:
The Charge Capture Manager ensures complete, accurate, and timely charge capture. This position develops, oversees, and maintains Epic revenue cycle systems, as well as other billing processes and systems to effectively meet established charge capture goals and service standards to ensure organizational success. Provides direction for the Charge Capture division. Promotes and emulates a patient-centric and customer service focus within the division. Responsible for the service and productivity performance of the division. Ensures the Charge Capture division is integrated with other departmental areas. Develops the Charge Capture division's operational policies, procedures standards and expectations, providing clear opportunities to meet or exceed WakeMed's mission, vision and values. Conducts performance reviews of direct reports; develop and mentor direct reports and staff. Participates in community and agency events. Performs other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

Experience Requirements:
1 Year Leadership And Project Management In Healthcare Required - And 7 Years Health Information Management Or Accounting/Finance - Financial Analysis Or Accounting/Finance - Revenue Cycle Preferred

Education Required:
Bachelor's Degree Health Administration Or Accounting Or Finance Or Nursing Required

Licensure/Certification Requirements:
Registered Nurse Or Registered Health Information Administrator Or Registered Health Information Technician Or Certified Coding Specialist Or Certified/Licensed/Registered in Field of Practice Or Project Management Professional Or Certified Professional Coder Preferred
