Our Team
The Cyber & Intelligence (C&I) Solutions team is responsible for Mastercard’s safety and security related product development efforts to protect the integrity of the electronic payment system as well as ensure payments are convenient yet secure.
Solutions are focused on authentication, fraud prevention, risk mitigation and dispute resolution across all payment channels as well as all stakeholders; issuers, acquirers, merchants, processors and consumers. The key objectives of the are to enable identity, reduce consumer abandonments in ecommerce, reduce fraud and increase purchase approval rates, all leading to better customer experiences while using their Mastercard.
As part of this organization, the Platform Strategy Team:

• Helps lead business architecture, solution design, and data management and usage strategies to ensure C&I is able to deliver a world class experience for customers
• Creates solution designs for global, interoperable, and scalable risk prevention, cyber security and authentication solutions for Mastercard customers.
• Develops and maintain strategic development road maps for C&I Platform and capabilities covering all aspects of authentication, risk assessment, and cyber security products and services.

The Role

• In collaboration with stakeholders, support the definition of business oriented solution architecture and contribute to the development of platform strategies that help drive value to the organization
• Provide the leadership to bring together business, application, infrastructure and data requirements into a single view of solutions options and recommendations
• Understand and manage stakeholder expectations at a senior and executive level
• Provide clear choices and recommendations that enable both business and technical decision making. Responsible for the stakeholder engagement of internal and external parties with regard to architecture decisions and their implications.
• Provide credible technical knowledge and insight to stakeholders and if needed to external customers. May be responsible for delivering presentations to key external stakeholders and customers.
• Collaborate with acquisition partners to support innovation and drive the ‘Connected Intelligence’ strategy.
• Through close partnership with Product and Strategy, understand and anticipate business needs to recommend holistic solutions and provide leadership through influence

• The candidate will have a deep and broad technology understanding combined with a strong business acumen
• Experience in envisioning and driving major enhancements to global platforms and ensuring business objectives and roadmaps are taken into account.
• Experience building winning business cases by driving out all detail required to drive a platform capability
• Experience with enterprise level data management strategy and platform architectures a strong plus
