JOB PURPOSE:
Responsible for the design, analysis, and monitoring of productivity and labor management for all facilities of Piedmont Healthcare Corporation (PHC) utilizing the productivity management software system. Designs, coordinates, and manages projects to improve system productivity and the overall understanding of productivity/labor management. Projects involve plan development, industry research, expert interviews, benchmarking, operational feasibility analysis, financial pro formas, presentation development, and implementation assistance. Trains all levels of supervisory and management staff and facility based productivity specialists on productivity and other decision support systems. Assignments entail a high degree of autonomy to interact with all levels of management and leadership. Manages all resources assigned to specific project efforts. Maintains strict confidentiality of all patient, employee, and company data.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Provides ongoing labor productivity-related expertise and support to PHC executive leadership and management at each of the entities
2. Manages and maintains the PHC productivity system utilized by all facilities and other internal and comparative databases to assist management in monitoring operational and financial performance and evaluate opportunities for improvement.
3. Provides consultative, technical, and decision-making support to management and facility based productivity specialists regarding financial/operational improvement and program development.
4. Serves as and is responsible for data collection and technical resource for activities related to work flow analysis, productivity measures, and business decisions.
5. Oversees labor-related projects and is responsible for labor reporting.
6. Presents and communicates in a professional and effective manner.
7. Performs productivity management analysis and responds to ad hoc requests for information.
8. Leads the design of the productivity report-set and gains approval from leadership.
9. Provides on-going productivity training for all managers /directors.
10. Develops the labor component of the facilities annual operating budget.
11. Works collaboratively with entity Finance staff in analyzing productivity management.
12. Participates in performance management process including performance evaluation, coaching, and development of direct reports.
13. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
A Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing or related field or a current license in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License required.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Five (5) years of professional work experience performing or managing labor/productivity/process improvement or five (5) years of experience in healthcare clinical operations is required.
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
None.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Requires advanced computer skills with a strong knowledge of spreadsheet programs; experience with database and decision support systems preferred. Must be able to work collaboratively with entity CFO’s and Finance Directors to understand the requirements for labor productivity reports. Demonstrates the ability to perform under stressful and changing circumstances and deadlines. Demonstrates effective written and oral communication skills. Possesses the ability to discern the sensitivity of information and materials in order to preserve confidentiality.
