Manager, Service Line Growth

The Manager, Service Line Growth is passionate about developing and implementing marketing strategies and providing project support that helps drive growth for the system. This role will develop and execute a results-driven integrated marketing plans across both consumer and physician audiences to drive assigned clinical service line growth, differentiation, and innovation. He/she will proactively guide and project manage marketing programs to grow clinical and referral business lines in collaboration with the broader NorthShore-Edward-Elmhurst Health marketing and communication team and organization.

Reporting to the Director, Service Line Growth, he/she will collaborate with colleagues across the marcom team – in Digital, internal/external Communications and Content – to carry out various plan objectives and tactics. Indirect influence of and collaboration with other key organization leaders is also necessary for success in this position.

This is a highly cross-functional role requiring both strategic and tactical execution as well as strong project management skills. It will require someone who is able to anticipate organizational and key stakeholder needs, is strategic, curious, highly collaborative, and works to be a little better every day.



Must Have the Ability to:

Be an innovative and collaborative member of the team through the creation of creative marketing programs, digital story distribution, media and partnerships that anticipate consumer behavior, drive growth and differentiate the brand.

  • Build and nurture relationships with clinical, operations and executive partners to collaboratively and proactively showcase the leading, community-connected care provided at NorthShore-Edward-Elmhurst Health.
  • Spearhead and develop comprehensive and integrated marketing plans for both on-going organizational priorities and new initiatives, as assigned. Problem-solve and possess the interpersonal skills to work closely with other marketing, medical, operations and executive stakeholders to help guide overall strategic approach and influence patient experience.
  • Measurably and simply communicate results to internal and external stakeholders across a mix of channels, platforms and formats.

Job Responsibilities:


LEAD MARKETING PLANS, for both on-going brand and growth initiatives as well as help spearhead innovations and respond to on-going organizational initiatives and growth opportunities. Oversee plan development, creative execution and performance measurement of programs.


LEVERAGE PARTNERSHIPS and resources that feed marketing and communications strategic efforts and help to enhance the influence of the marcom team and shape the organizational strategy.


PROACTIVELY STEWARD RESULTS by providing feedback to stakeholders regarding performance of marketing programs. Gauge and proactively optimize on-going performance needs.


PROJECT MANAGE and spearhead ing multiple projects across various stakeholders, with agency partners and vendors. Resourcefully approach work to improve efficiency and extend capabilities.


ANTICIPATE AND PROACTIVELY INFLUENCE BRAND STORY as it relates to assigned service lines, advancing the broader consumer voice and narrative into brand, creative, and innovative story telling. Utilize digital media to leverage content across channels and platforms.


DEVELOP AND NURTURE KEY ORGANIZATION RELATIONSHIPS and engage important clinical, business and external insights relationships.


MANAGE OUTSIDE VENDORS, nurturing and guiding vendor relationships to get consistently excellent work and results.


DEVELOP AND MANAGE BUDGET for all project activities.


Requirements:

  • 5+ years professional experience in marketing, communications and/or digital marketing/program management
  • Exceptional interpersonal and project management skills
  • Demonstrated experience using data to inform decision making & strategy planning
  • Demonstrated leadership and influence experience
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Approaches projects creatively. Loves trying new approaches, platforms and executions
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience engaging at an executive level with cross-functional groups
  • Experience working with or in support of diverse communities
