What we need:


Mohawk is looking for a Manager, Technical Fleet Operations to support our supply chain team by improving efficiency through technology-based tools and resources. This role is responsible for all of Mohawk’s telematic devices, including training and development of a standard operating process to ensure operational efficiency and safety compliance.


The Manager, Technical Fleet Operations manages a small team, so we are looking for a positive leader to inspire, develop and engage a high-performing team.


What you’ll do:


  • Develop and manage fleet technology budget, including forecasting for future needs, managing invoice approvals and payments, etc.
  • Act as a superuser and master trainer for all asset and fleet software tools
  • Implement, manage and oversee fleet software and fleet technology hardware
  • Build and maintain a relationship with technology vendors/ suppliers to ensure quick troubleshooting, repairs and other needed services
  • Identify opportunities for improvements to the Mohawk fleet through the use of technology
  • Leverage telematic solutions to provide advanced tracking and monitoring of operational data

What you have:


  • 5+ years of experience working with telematic solutions
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
  • Advanced or expert level skills working in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with AS400, SAP and HTML (preferred)

  • Driving optimization and results through reporting and analytics
  • Providing a strong attention to detail and accuracy to daily tasks, as well as special projects
  • Communicating and negotiating effectively with internal and external customers
  • Problem solving, including identifying alternative solutions, projecting consequences of proposed actions and implementing recommendations in support of goals
  • Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
