Manor Homecare, one of Ireland's leading homecare providers is recruiting for a very exciting position as Rapid Responder,

The successful candidate will have a strong experience and track record in all different types of care and be flexible and enthusiastic. You will be supporting our clients and carers on daily basics.

You will work 4 days per week and must be available from 8am-8pm.

Applicants must be able to supply 2 suitable character references and be willing to complete a Garda Vetting form.

Applicants living or working aboard for 6 months or more also need to provide Garda Clearance or be in the process of receiving this.

What will your role involve?

  • Helping clients with their daily activities. Assisting with all ADL's.
  • Working with both low- and high-level needs clients
  • Making a positive difference every day within the community
  • You will have fixed daily hours but no fixed client's roster and interact daily with the care coordinators.
  • You will have a strong input in the office management and with our carers in the field.
  • Protecting against loneliness and isolation in the community
  • Supporting social and interactions and activities.

What skills do you need to have?

  • Be a caring, reliable, Passionate and trustworthy HCA.
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills
  • Must have a minimum of 1 years paid work experience as a HCA.
  • Must have a full clean driver’s licence.
  • Must have full QQI level 5 in healthcare or equivalent
