What Facilities Management contributes to Cardinal Health
Facilities & Real Estate plans and directs facility maintenance and food services as well as real estate activities including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing and property development.
Facilities Janitorial Maintenance ensures the reliable operation and presentation of the organization's world class facilities. This job family performs routine janitorial tasks including general housekeeping and cleaning of all areas of the facility such as offices, conference rooms, restrooms, breakrooms. This job family may also be cross trained in additional maintenance and facilities tasks such as basic preventative maintenance, service and repair of equipment.
Responsibilities

• Cleaning and upkeep of general areas (office areas, 2 break rooms, multiple rest rooms, production control rooms)
• Cleaning, sanitizing, and restocking of toiletry of all restrooms
• Cleaning in production control rooms / restocking of manufacturing PPE and supplies
• Empty trash in assigned areas.
• Clean, sanitize, and dust all offices / office areas.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum the common areas in all buildings / office areas / production control areas.
• Clean other areas as assigned

Qualifications

• 0-1 years of related housekeeping/janitorial experience preferred
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Experience within a regulated/manufacturing environment preferred.

• Maintains appropriate licenses, training and certifications

• Works within clearly defined Standard Operating Procedures and/or scientific methods

• All work is reviewed for accuracy
• Any deviations from the norm are approved by the supervisor before proceeding
