Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Previous manufacturing experience
• Strong mathematical and mechanical aptitude
• Visual ability to distinguish between colors
• Ability to work rotating shifts 2-2-3. 5:00 AM - 5:00 PM (3 months days, 3 months nights)
• Material Handler - 5 years in manufacturing operations with demonstrated inventory control skills
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Advanced computer skills
• Comfort performing assigned tasks near operational machinery
• Experience with Hoist systems
• Tow motor experience (preferred)
• Ability to work as an integral part of a team
• Solid focus on quality
• Excellent safety record and mindset

Job Overview

Extrusion Operator

• Accurately report and document issues and downtime
• Ensure finished products align with customer specifications
• Perform quality checks
• Complete minor and preventative machine maintenance
• Maintain daily production rate, limiting machine downtime

Production Material Handler

• Stock all lines with raw and packaging materials
• Move materials to specified locations within the warehouse
• Verify correct labeling information
• Perform pre-shift inspections and routine maintenance
• Perform daily inventory counts of raw materials and packaging supplies

Machine Operator - Rework

• Perform quality checks
• Ensure the proper use of all facility equipment
• Complete minor and preventative maintenance
• Maintain daily production rates
• Minimize downtime
• All positions will be expected to support Plant and Company goals, Participate in Continuous Improvement activities and Lean Manufacturing processes, and maintain housekeeping per GMP and 5S guidelines
