Manufacturing Manager - Roofing and Cladding
Job description
JWR are currently recruiting a Manufacturing Manager for our clients, a leading roofing and cladding company based in County Mayo.
The successful candidate will be based in their new Manufacturing Unit in Mayo and will lead and manage the production team and ensure the company is always Producing high quality products while meeting time deadlines and achieving the highest customer quality expectations”
The suitable candidate will work closely with the production department.
They will be responsible for the planning /organising of production to ensure efficient work flow.
Key Duties:
- Proving direction to production team ensuring work is carried out at a required standard.
- Communicating with staff at all levels providing direction and job assignment.
- Supervise & Evaluate - Reporting any training requirements and providing assistance if required.
- Ensuring that schedules are been met. Strong emphasis on a daily goal or production expectation.
- Address any deviations that may arise in daily production, and devise tactical plans in addressing any shortfalls.
- Monitor and report on raw materials usage/Labour variances.
- Engage with all members of staff to ensure everybody is accountable to safety standards/quality standards/ delivery standards/attendance and general workplace expectations.
Requirements
- 3+ years experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in leading / supervising role.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage several priorities at once.
- Good leadership skills that can motivate their team.
- Results driven with a desire to meet all targets and standards as set out by the General Manager.
