Job Title: Manufacturing Technician 1

Location: 1901 Siemens Drive Fort Payne, AL 35967

Duration: 6 Months

Shift Timings: 5:00 AM-3:30 PM (Mon – Thursday, 4x10; Days)

Job Description:

· You will be trained to read blueprints, drawings and engineering specifications to determine operations required to convert raw material into finished products.

· You will setup and operate a variety of equipment, machines, and hand tools.

· You will use overhead cranes and forklifts to move material and products.

· You will be trained to focus on quality, and to have great attention to quality details while meeting your production targets.

· You will work with a team of highly motivated individuals who strive for success.

What You Bring:

· High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

· Ability to read, write, complete simple forms, and understand simple written instructions required.

· Ability to use basic shop math and precision measuring equipment.

· Ability to obtain forklift and overhead crane operating licenses.

· Blueprint reading experience preferred.

· Manufacturing/industrial experience preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

• Fort Payne, AL 35967: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Manufacturing/Industrial: 2 years (Required)
• Shop math: 2 years (Required)
• Precision measuring instruments: 2 years (Required)
