Salary: $24.81/hour
Job Duties:
- Responsible for managing and maintaining a full service marina; makes daily operational decisions.
- In the absence of the Superintendent this associate may have immediate responsibility for the operation and maintenance of assigned projects and the necessary associates and equipment by which to complete.
- Supervises one full time associate and multiple seasonal temporary associates.
- Helps service the needs of over 400 slip holders who hold annual moorage leases with Jackson County; performs budget control for a total operating budget of approximately $500,000.00, which is funded by revenue taken in at the marina; provides maintenance for 80 watercraft for public rental.
- Oversees staffing, schedules and supervision of multiple personnel; interprets park and state water use regulations; manages a retail store operation so that expenses do not exceed revenue; procures operational materials and resale items and procures capital equipment.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
- Three years of progressively responsible experience in Business Management.
- Must possess a valid Missouri Boater’s Safety Card if applicable.
- Must possess/maintain valid Missouri Driver's License.
- Must pass pre-employment drug and background screen.
