CVS Media Exchange is hiring a Marketing Ad Technology Operations - Lead Director who will report to the Executive Director, Operations.

CVS Media Exchange [CMX] is dedicated to driving measurable outcomes for our suppliers, merchants, stores, GMs, brand advertisers, and agencies. Our full-funnel ad solutions leverage CVS’s in-store and online data, extensive reach, and to provide measurable results for our clientele. With a range of flexible pricing and buying models, including self-service; these solutions help businesses build brand awareness, engage with CVS consumers, and convert CVS consumers to shoppers.

In this position, you will lead technical support for CMX’s Ad Technology suite. As a seasoned ad technology professional, you will drive operational efficiencies through a variety of techniques including but not limited to onsite tagging strategy, new product launches, and technical issue resolution in order to drive scale to meet CMX’s revenue goals. You will operate as a player-coach leading a team responsible for technical ad integration and support. You will report to the Executive Director, Operations, partnering closely across CMX Product, Partnerships, and Activation and CVS Digital.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
  • Build and oversee team of operational resources responsible CMX Ad Technology
  • Identify and implement process and workflow improvements for Ad Tech and Ad Operations
  • Responsible for testing new product releases and verifying core functionality and features for existing business are operational
  • Work closely with leaders across the product, data, and business teams to influence the product roadmap and CMX strategy
  • Document and train any changes in process to Ad Operations and Ad Tech
  • Perform administrative duties in Google Ad Manager and other internal platforms
  • Establish various business processes and policies in relation to CVS ad inventory management
  • Technical escalation for troubleshooting to support issues related to ads support, establish and oversee ticket management system

This role is work at home flexible. It can be based remotely in the U.S. or near one of our Corporate Hubs. If you are commutable to one of the following Corporate Hubs, you must work in the office 2 or more days a week: Wellesley, MA, Woonsocket, RI, Hartford, CT, Buffalo Grove, IL, Northbrook, IL, Scottsdale, AZ, Irving, TX, or New York, NY.

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 100,000
Maximum: 227,000

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years cross-functional leadership experience
  • 8+ years experience in Ad Operations, Ad Technology or Media Operations
  • 5+ years experience using Google Ad Manager and other ad serving platforms
  • 3+ years experience working with Product and Engineering teams
  • 2+ years experience with ticketing / issue management systems
  • 2+ years with Adobe or CMS platforms
  • 1+ years experience with Search API and other search platforms

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with DOOH and Audio
  • Experience with Video and CTV advertising
  • Retail media experience
  • A self-starter, who is extremely detail oriented comfortable taking ownership of projects and functions
  • A team player who participates and leads discussions, sharing best practices and knowledge with team members
  • Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive.
  • Proven track record of managing and scaling high performing teams

Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (HS Diploma and 4 years of experience) required
