What you will do:
The Marketing Associate is part of the three-person Wintrust Wealth Management Marketing Department and reports to the Director of Strategy and Marketing. This role involves frequent interaction with the firm’s sales force including Financial Advisors, Trust Officers, Portfolio Managers, Private Bankers, and 1031 Exchange Specialists so a service mindset is very important. The Marketing Associate’s responsibilities are to:
- Fulfill all approved field requests in a high quality and timely manner, including personalization, printing and/or delivery of marketing collateral, mailings, presentations, newsletters, list pulls, signage, and digital postings
- Execute the production, approval and mailing process for letters, postcards and seminar/event invitations through interaction with sales teams and internal/external partners and proofread all outgoing materials
- Help organize and update the marketing team’s source data, including photos, signatures, logos and location/coverage data for our salesforce
- Help maintain departmental infrastructure including the firm’s intranet and public websites, shared network drive files, marketing supplies (promotional items, paper, binding materials folders, brochures), and equipment (printer, computer, and binding machine) placing service calls as-needed
- Lead or assist with departmental projects and initiatives with varying degrees of visibility and responsibility
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree and/or commensurate experience in administrative assistant or client service roles
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Highly organized, accountable, conscientious, and a team player with an attention to detail
- Strong client service skills
- Editing and proofreading experience preferable
